The Aboriginal Housing Company (AHC) would like to clarify that our solicitors, Ashurst (formerly Blake Dawson), are acting on a pro bono basis. This means that they are doing the work for free.
Ashurst, now an international firm, has provided pro bono services to the AHC since the 1970s and are continuing to do so. The AHC is Ashurst’s longest running pro bono client. We are very grateful for Ashurst’s continued support.
The AHC’s counsel, Geoffrey Watson, and Nick Kabilafkas are also working on this case on a pro bono basis.
