Lowe’s now offers professional monitoring with its iris security system

Lowe’s Cos. Inc.’s Iris security system now has ways to hook into a specialist monitoring system.

For $14.95 per month, the Iris system will connect to United Central Control, a monitoring system that will dispatch first responders to homes.

Mick Koster, vice leader and general director of Iris, says the new system allows myloweslife customers to web page link their smart homes to a specialist monitoring system at an inexpensive.

“Our easy-to-install, DIY system means customers choose just what they want, just how they need it, for the least expensive and complete smart home of the dreams,” Koster says.

Other improvements to smart homes by Iris include an Security alarm Tracker feature that recognizes the risk at home, be it security, smoke cigarettes or carbon monoxide alarms. Iris can be linked to a Bosch system to ensure that house animals don’t tripped security systems.

The $14.95-per-month system carries a cellular phone back up link with ensure that the decision gets to disaster responders.

Mooresville-based Lowe’s (NYSE:LOW) is the owner of Iris.
